Bonferraro di Sorgà (VR), 13 March 2019 - Alé, the Italian brand owned by APG S.r.l., which has been producing cycling apparel for over 30 years, will be partnering the Etna Marathon and supplying the jerseys for the 2019 edition.
As a company unafraid to think out of the box, Alé has always focused on visually impacting solutions with bright graphic designs, vibrant colours and uniquely cut garments. Its collections, whether available from the firm’s catalogue or custom-made, whether destined for use by professionals or amateurs, are always exclusive and immediately stand out from the rest of the group.
The Etna Marathon event, due to take place next 14 September in Sicily, is possibly one of the most remarkable and fascinating races in the entire UCI XCM-MS calendar of events. With its 78 km and an elevation gain of 2900 m, the trail of this long-distance mountain bike race is simply amazing and has no equal anywhere in the world: it alternates the lunar landscapes typical of volcanic areas with millenary pine forests, woodlands and the stone quarries of this beautiful land of Sicily. Awaiting the athletes of the Marathon Series circuit there are 17 km of a breathtaking single-track that is tough, fun and exciting.
“It is with real pleasure that we announce our partnership with this unique and very special event. As unique and special as Alé – commented Alessia Piccolo, CEO of Alé Cycling– I have in mind a jersey for the Etna Marathon that will reflect this fine race and this amazing land; we shall draw inspiration from its colours! It will symbolize force and passion. Just like the marathon it is dedicated to.”
“It is a great honour to be flanked by such a prestigious brand”, explained Maurizio Scalia, President of the ASD Mongibello MTB Team organizing the event “Our race offers an important international showcase and we are delighted that such an important brand as Alé has decided to believe in us. A storied and widely distributed brand like Alé can only be seen as a wonderful ally, a partner for our growth strategy.”
