Alé main sponsor of the first edition of "Le Strade Bianche Women Elite”
There is a great news in the women cycling calendar of 2015: “Le Strade Bianche Women Elite”. A new women’s race on the dirt roads of Tuscany that is about to start: a unique path in the world, the participation of athletes at the highest technical level and Alé alongside them as the main sponsor of the event.The appointment is for Saturday 7th of March for the departure from San Gimignano, which will move up to an hour and a half the men’s race, with 103 km to go through, 17 of which of gravel roads. A path very rough and wavy, identical to that of the professionals for the first 33 and the last 20 km, with the arrival in the beautiful Piazza del Campo of Siena. “Le Strade Bianche”, with its route between dirt and downs, is known as one of the most spectacular competitions, which excites even more because of the secular charm of Siena that hosts it; the inauguration of ”Le Strade Bianche Women Elite” enriches the quality and attractiveness of this historic event, with Alé as the Main Sponsor, which has always been linked to the world of women’s professional thanks to the first-person effort of Alessia Piccolo, the General Manager of APG.
