While confirming its characteristic features – superb quality fabrics, details and finishes, original and stand-out graphic designs, colour and fluorescent shades – the new collection puts the spotlight on avant-garde trends, such as the use of eco-compatible materials, recycled at the source, and high-profile technologies such as graphene fabrics.
Companies and the general public are increasingly aware of the importance of protecting the planet. With the new SS 2020 collection, Alé expresses a desire to share the commitment of many, with its GREEN ROAD garments, 90% of which consist of fabrics, yarns, inserts and bib elastics with a low environmental impact. A significant percentage of the fabrics used are certified Global Recycle Standard (GRS).
GREEN ROAD garments comprise jerseys and shorts, for both men and women, cycling pads and socks in recycled materials. All garments offer UPF50+ protection and are embellished with green details, which emphasize the eco-friendly spirit of the line. The properties of the fabrics used, such as greater ventilation, quick drying capacity and elevated elasticity, are by no means inferior to those of non-recycled yarns.
A fine atomic layer of carbon foil, graphene is thought to be the finest and strongest conductive material in the world. Natural and non-polluting, it enables a proper interaction between body and fabric while dissipating and regulating heat in its various parts.
The new garments Alé VELOCITY G+ JERSEY and G+ DWR JACKET are produced using Graphene G+ technology: the advantage consists in a more effective distribution and equalization of the body temperature, creating the ideal microclimate to keep cyclists comfortable even in the most unpleasant weather conditions.
Another important theme of the new SS2020 collection by Alé is speed: in fact, Velocity jersey and shorts have been manufactured using wind tunnel-tested fabrics. The new cycling pad, Velocity 8H, specifically developed for these garments, is also designed for intensive training sessions.
Gravel riding is booming in the world of cycling. Ditching the obsession with performance, cyclists are seeking out the freedom and excitement of gravel riding and relishing the chance to explore new horizons, from roads to trails, hills and forests, whether commuting to work, riding with the kids or heading off on holiday with luggage in tow.
The new SS 2020 collection by Alé presents a new line of garments for off-road cycling: garments with comfortable fit and hardwearing fabrics, with anti-abrasion inserts and plenty of pockets, perfect for long cycling trips.
The new Spring/Summer 2020 collection will be available online and in the stores starting from February-March 2020.
