The rainbow jersey is coming. We are just a few days before the start of the official UCI season and the Movistar team is ready to show off the new Rainbow jersey.
La Strade Bianche, the famous Italian classic with its challenging "dirt" sections, will see the Blues wearing a multicoloured jersey designed by local artist Loris Gobbi, which Alé's technicians have adapted to the current kit worn by the Iberian team.
Almost 400 participants took part in this initiative and about 3000 votes decreed the victory of the jersey made by Gobolo Design, depicting a rainbow decomposed into a kaleidoscopic effect to wish a colourful and hopeful start after this global pandemic.
The jerseys will be made available to the public through an auction of 10 pieces, signed by the team members, whose proceeds will go to the Spanish Red Cross and the Italian Civil Protection. In the coming days the team and Alé Cycling, with the support of Telefónica, will communicate which platform will be used for the auction. This initiative in which many of you have participated is entirely focused on helping the people most affected by the COVID-19 crisis and all the people who do their best to support them.
