Alé Cipollini Galassia dominated the fourth stage of the Giro Rosa 2015, the #yellowfluorange thanks to a perfect job conquered the daily stage (Pioltello - Pozzo d’Adda) thanks to the sprint won by Annalisa Cucinotta.
“I am in heaven” says Alessia Piccolo’s lineup sprinter, Annalisa Cucinotta – “It feels almost incredible. I have never won a stage at Giro, I am really excited. This is a victory for the team, I want to thank my teammates because they did a perfect job. This victory is for them and our Sports Directors Fortunato Laquaniti and Fabiana Luperini and Alessia Piccolo”.
Fortunato Laquaniti and Fabiana Luperini are excited too, this is his comment about the victory at Pozzo d’Adda: “What a perfect team! We have been out of the escape ma then we we closed it, we knew that Annalisa could try her best today, thanks to a perfect team job and this is what happened. To win a stage at Giro, with an Italian athlete is the best thing for an Italian lineup. This is the result of many sacrifices.”
“We are more than satisfied: now, we enjoy this amazing success but we do not rest, tomorrow we will try again”. This is Sports Direcots Fabiana Luperini’s first victory and these are her words: “I want to thank the girls wha made me feel many emotions. Today they did a perfect job and listened to our advices. The team job is the strength of this team”.
A success that #yellowfluorange ladies wanted and deserved, for Aessia Piccolo Team. Alè Cipollini Galassia won the the fourth stage of the Giro Rosa 2015. All the riders worked very well during the daily 103 km: they closed the escape, and then help Cucinotta in order to lead her to a perfect sprint. In Pozzo d’Adda she won cleary. It’s a team win, 8 ladies today won. Annalisa Cucinotta signs her first success in the Giro Rosa. After two places in the top ten, respectively in the first and third stage, seventh and tenth, now Alè Cipollini Galassia home is time to celebrate.
The appointment with the Giro Rosa is for tomorrow: there will be the 5th stage (Trezzo d’Adda - Aprica, 128,400 km). It will be the first uphill finish of this Giro and Alé Cipollini Galassia Team Ladies certainly will be protagoists, again.
