The shorts are designed anatomically and ergonomically, with shaped side bands and our 7 cm-wide TT-GRIPPER on the lower edge of the leg, with thermal welded silicone on the inside surface to ensure that the garment adheres to the skin and remains in position. The new OPEN BIB construction completes the innovative styling of this garment. Designed according to the new “OPEN” concept, with a back opening to allow for the dispersion of perspiration, it sets out to minimize the layers of fabric on the back and to make the bibshorts fresher and more comfortable even when temperatures soar. On the front, two braces in soft micro fibre support the shorts and ensure a perfect fit. The reflective transfers on the sides of the legs increase on-road visibility.
K-COLDBLACK BIBSHORTS owe their name to the main fabric of which they are made, ZAFFIRO COLDBLACK, a high-density Lycra Power (thread count 40) enhanced byCOLDBLACK® technology, a treatment primarily used on black and coloured fabrics which, as well as offering protection against UVA and UVB rays (UPF50+), also minimizes the absorption of solar thermal radiation to keep the body fresh, even when training on the hottest summer days. This treatment contains nothing but bluesign®-approved components with minimum levels of harmful substances, which are therefore harmless for human beings and the environment, to promote the economic and ecological use of resources in manufacturing processes. With regard to Lycra Power, ZAFFIRO COLDBLACK, which is compact and opaque, also offers muscular support and resistance to abrasion, to ensure a longer lifecycle to the garment. The bibs, on the other hand, are constructed from a combination of AERO MESH SUPERLIGHT, a lightweight and breathable mesh with large-sized holes to increase the passage of air, AM CARBON FIBER which regales another important component: carbon, a truly precious fibre for athletes. Its conductivity performs an antistatic action, dissipating the charges accumulated during physical exertion. It protects from bacteria and pollution particles and, last but not least, accelerates the evaporation of perspiration which consequently hinders the formation of moisture on the skin.
